Why you’re seeing this
Earlier today some users experienced delays and minor glitching in the event feed and confirmations. The root cause was an edge-case in our caching layer that could temporarily stall delivery and acknowledgment for scheduled events. We identified it fast and shipped a fix.
We believe trust is built not only on great days but also on how we act on the tough ones. That’s why we’re issuing a universal goodwill bonus to anyone who had events scheduled while we were deploying the fix.
What you’re getting
+1000 reputation points
Applied once per account.
Eligible if you had at least one event scheduled during the incident window.
Reputation points contribute to your profile rank, unlock perks faster, and improve your priority in invites and matching.
Who qualifies (eligibility)
You’re eligible if:
Your account was active at the time, and
You had any event scheduled (own event or RSVP’d/added to calendar), and
No extra actions are required from you.

How to check your bonus
Open Profile → Rating
Look for the entry “Service Bonus: Scheduled Event Window” (+1000)

What was fixed
A rare state where a background cache didn’t invalidate quickly enough for newly scheduled or just-confirmed events.
Result: some users saw stale components for minutes, or had to refresh to see up-to-date status.
We patched the logic and added additional guards + monitoring so the same class of issue can’t repeat silently.

Q: I had an event scheduled but it wasn’t impacted. Do I still get the bonus?
A: Yes. If your scheduled time overlapped with the fix window, you qualify. We’re keeping it simple.
Q: I scheduled right before/after the window—am I included?
A: If the event’s scheduled time overlaps the window, yes. If not, you won’t see the bonus (but we still ❤️ you).
Q: I can’t see the bonus yet.
A: Refresh your app. If it still doesn’t show after ~10 minutes, contact support in Settings → Support.
Q: Can I transfer the points?
A: No; reputation is non-transferable and tied to your account history.
Q: Will there be more compensation if something else happens?
A: We don’t expect further issues, but our policy is consistent: take responsibility fast, fix fast, and make it right.
